Memory

The last two mornings as I was working out I had all these great thoughts as to what my post would be. However, I can't remember a damn one of them. I have come to the conclusion that good ideas while working out are a lot like good ideas you have in your dreams. They are brilliant, amazing, world changing ideas that never see the light of day. WTF!!!

So my charge to my loyal readers is simple:
1. Does this ever happen to you.
2. Other than carry a note pad with you or next to the bed what do you do to remember.
3 If you have ever remember any of your brilliant, amazing, world changing ideas what were they?

Isn't that true, getting lost in a new spot is the coolest!
Better luck next time remembering the things you want to remember :) & Happy training!

1. All the time
2. say it over and over and over and connect it to something else that I typically remember.
3. I don't remember :-)

1) Plenty of times
2) I just type it into a notepad on my computer, and then write a blank post in Windows Live Writer to eventually finish...it's just that sometimes it takes me a year to finish writing it.
3) If posting how to make pasta is considering world changing...then yes. :)

I often do remember these brilliant dream ideas (I have extremely vivid dreams and usually don't have to write them down). However, as soon as I repeat these great ideas to someone else, they suddenly sound incredibly stupid (usually because they are).

But I'm thinking that a pad of paper is unnecessary. How about getting a little pen that you can tuck somewhere? I figure your arm or the back of your hand is as good of a medium as any to write on.

It happens to me all the time. And usually, I just get lazy once I walk in the door and forget my brilliant idea. This would be why I don't post as often as I should.

Maybe we need a HRM/GPS device with a built in voice recorder to store those ideas?
